At Adbetter, we know there’s always more that we can do to limit our impact on the world around us. That’s why we’ve partnered with Ecologi, an initiative helping companies become part of the solution in the fight against man-made climate change.
Ecologi provides a way for businesses to offset the carbon footprint of their employees. By subscribing to the platform, you can contribute directly to making the future a slightly better place to live for all of us.
How it works
The process is simple. Businesses sign up for a monthly subscription. This money then goes towards initiatives that compensate for companies’ CO2 emissions.
Ecologi funds climate projects, helps businesses set eco goals and captures their progress along the way with personalised profiles.
You also get to see exactly how your money is being spent, with a dashboard that breaks down the projects & initiatives your subscription has helped fund by location and activity. So far our contributions have gone towards a project protecting old-growth rainforest in Peru, and an onshore wind energy generation initiative in Taiwan.
How much has Adbetter saved?
We’re new to this journey but we’re glad to see we’ve already made a difference.
Over the past month, Adbetter has:
- Offset 0.88 tonnes of carbon emissions by protecting old-growth rainforest in Peru and contributing to off-shore wind farming near Taiwan.
- Planted 54 trees in Madagascar, Mozambique and the UK.
By the end of the year, we’ll have reduced our carbon footprint by over 14 tonnes. And we’ll have made a good crack at starting a small forest, by planting around 740 trees.

Being part of the solution
Alongside our partnership with Ecologi, we’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint in as many other ways as we can.
For starters, we’re completely paperless (other than the odd letter from HMRC!). This means no trees were harmed in our communications with clients & suppliers. We use digital signatures for all paperwork.
We go digital where we can. While we know that face to face meetings are sometimes necessary, we think a Zoom call is ideal for small chats and catch-ups. We’ve also made a commitment to using public transport for at least 90% of our business travel.
